I'm thrilled to unveil this blog, where I'll chronicle my experiences as a somewhat experienced illustrator venturing into the realm of AI art. My focus lies in the image generator Midjourney, and I'm eager to explore how this software can assist in my digital art-making processes. I am a Visual Art student and I consider myself a maker of all things, though a master of none. While textile art is my primary medium, I have a deep fondness for drawing. Yet, transforming these drawings into digital art has always felt daunting and overwhelming. I must confess that I'm an ideas person, and seeing a project through to completion has been a personal struggle. However, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the art world, shattering creative boundaries and redefining artistic practices. Recognizing its immense potential, I've decided to explore Midjourney and its ability to create digital illustrations.
